The menu at Le Méry Saïgon is a celebration of fresh ingredients and bold flavors. From the moment you scan the options, you can tell that each dish is crafted with care. Popular choices include the rich and savory pho, a Vietnamese noodle soup brimming with fragrant herbs and tender beef or chicken. The broth is perfectly balanced, with deep, earthy flavors that warm the soul. For those with a penchant for seafood, the grilled prawns are a standout - succulent and bursting with flavor, they make a perfect appetizer or main course.

Another crowd favorite is the bánh mì, a Vietnamese sandwich that blends crunchy baguettes with a variety of fillings. The crispy exterior of the bread contrasts beautifully with the fresh, juicy fillings like marinated pork, cilantro, and pickled vegetables. The flavors are well-rounded, with a slight kick from the chili, which adds to the dish’s irresistible allure. This personal touch makes all the difference, and it’s clear that the restaurant values customer satisfaction.

What sets Le Méry Saïgon apart is the authenticity of the flavors. While many Vietnamese restaurants offer a good version of the cuisine, this diner stands out for staying true to the roots of Saigon’s street food culture. Every dish is packed with layers of flavor, bringing together spicy, sour, sweet, and savory elements that hit all the right notes. The restaurant sources high-quality ingredients, which is evident in the freshness of the produce and the depth of taste in each dish. You can genuinely taste the effort that goes into preparing each meal, making it a rewarding experience for anyone who appreciates good food.

Beyond the fantastic dishes, Le Méry Saïgon also offers a selection of beverages to pair with your meal. The drink menu includes a mix of local French wines, refreshing iced teas, and traditional Vietnamese beverages like the popular iced coffee served with condensed milk. These drinks complement the dishes beautifully and add an extra layer of authenticity to your dining experience.

If you're planning to visit Le Méry Saïgon, it’s a good idea to book a table in advance, especially during peak hours. We are staying at the local aire and walked into town for some food. We were a little hesitant at first but received a very warm welcome and enjoyed some lovely Vietnamese food and hospitality. I highly recommend and think it is great to spend some money in a local restaurant when the town is so welcoming of tourists. I just wish England was the same - viva la France ????????

Stumbled on this during a Saturday lunchyime bike ride. We had the Menu du Jour at 18 euros. (15 euros mon-Fri). It was very quiet but food was great, as was the friendly service by an English speaking waiter. The delicate frites are the best ever!
